Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA f is a rhythm game for the PlayStation Vita. It was released as a digital download in North America and Europe on March 4 and March 12, 2014 respectively. Sega initially did not release the Vita version, deciding to release only the PS3 version outside of Japan, but later decided to release it due to the positive reception of the PS3 version.

A variety of vocaloids are playable, each of whom can be customized with a variety of accessories and exclusive outfits. A free DLC pack that adds additional content can be downloaded from the PlayStation Network. An additional song pack can also be purchased for $9.99, an additional costume for Miku can be purchased for $2.99, and three new characters can be purchased for $2.99.

The sequel to this game, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd, will be released for the Vita and the PlayStation 3 on November 18, 2014 for North America and November 21, 2014 for Europe.

GameplayEdit

Project Diva f is a rhythm game; players follow the beat of the song and try to press buttons according to on screen prompts. While doing this a music video plays in the background. Successfully following the beat and pressing the right buttons scores the player more points.
